Babcock & Miles is a wine bar, café, and specialty market located in Red Lodge, Montana. They run two adjacent locations: one is their Market, and the other is the Wine Bar & All Day Café.

Slayman Design – So. Calif. High-End Interior and Home Theater Designer

Slayman Design Associates, Inc. is a high-end interior design and home theater design firm based in Southern California (Newport Beach / Laguna Beach area). The founder is Lisa Slayman, who is a member of professional design organizations such as the American Society of Interior Designers and the International Interior Design Association, with over 25 years of experience in luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial interiors.

Slayman was in desperate need of a new website, and specifically required that the website encompass the interior design portion of the company, SDA (interior design), and Slayman Design (home theaters). Basically, two websites into one, with a gateway directing the visitor to the correct portion of the site, for home cinema or interior design. There was also a very specific focus on the initial energy of the ‘hero’ images.

Any redesign is complicated in nature, pulling years of content over. The messaging was the same, in essence, but bringing the website into a much more secure platform, as well as allowing future updates much easier, was paramount to the online presence of Slayman, giving them a “leg up”.

Acoustic Design Group – Arizona Luxury A/V Installer

Acoustic Designs Group (ADG) is a Scottsdale, Arizona-based firm specializing in luxury home automation, high-fidelity audio systems, and immersive home theater design. Their services cater to both residential and commercial clients across North America, offering tailored solutions that integrate lighting, climate control, audio/video systems, and wellness technologies into cohesive smart environments.

Although Leg Up did not initially design the ADG website, there were major enhancements, and a very complicated and unnessary e-commerce aspect to the site. A complete overhaul was done on the site, to keep up with the growth ADG had been experiencing.

The founder & CEO is Katye McGregor Bennett, who is active in AV-industry media (podcasts, trade publications, speaking) and has held roles in manufacturing, agency, and distribution in AV.

The majority of getting Katye a ‘leg up’ was spent on website assistance, not just for the firm, but also for several clients. As a PR firm, a portion of her marketing arm did not fully exist and needed to be outsourced, as is common. Leg Up stepped in to assist.

Tasks included preparing for major industry trade shows, like CEDIA Expo, Integrated Systems Europe, InfoComm, HTSA, and others, in website assistance. Social Media management for some clients was also a major task.

WhyReboot – So. Fla. Network Specialists

The majority of the marketing work was done by Leg Up’s founder, Kyle Glass, while at Marketing Matters, a premier PR/Marketing firm based out of South Florida. in association with two partners. MousePad for creative design assistance, and Fealex Group for website design. There was a heavy PR function initially as well, which was headed by Coleen Sterns Leith. Credit must be given. But work did continue with Leg Up after the company was founded, to include e-newsletter and website support up to late 2023. Eventually, WhyReboot had gained enough knowledge and support to bring most activities in-house.

The company needed the normal start-up package. A logo, branding/messaging, a website, hosting setup, etc. To follow on, lead generation and e-newsletter support using a popular e-mail sending platform, MailChimp. Most if not all of the marketing support that WhyReboot received remains in use at this time.

Tipi Village – Montana HoA

Tipi Village is a homeowners association in Red Lodge, Montana, “with its panoramic views of the mountains and sky [that] is an excellent place to live and to enjoy some of the best of Montana scenery and outdoor life.”

Tipi engaged Leg Up in 2023 to bring their much-out-of-date website up to a modern look and functionality. The association needed a logo as well, all on a shoestring budget. Although fairly simple in design, the site was quite extensive, bringing multiple years of documents and archives. The site also provides a much-needed security layer that most sites do not need.

Starting with the basics, a new logo was needed. Then, a WordPress site was built, dovetailing the complexity needed, with the ease of use. With years of minutes, board documents, etc., the works of what you would think a government body needs to be in compliance.

RESULT: Future Ready Solutions was provided with an extensive new website. Built in WordPress, a very popular content management system, the site offers multiple pages, with a focus on online shopping, as well as dealer/integrator sign-in for some information. His background in accounting and taxation—supported by advanced degrees in both law and tax—positions him to manage complex financial and legal issues.

Although most of his clients come from word-of-mouth, after starting his firm in 2020, he needed an online presence, as well as a logo. The specifics of the site were that it also needed a Spanish version. And the client really wanted an active first visual, as well as “sequential navigation”. SEO was not important to the client, although a basic first SEO package was provided, as with all website builds.

RESULT: Foodman was provided a basic website, though current to modern standards. Leg Up still provides website support, website updates, newsletter builds, and translation services, when called upon, to this day.

PDC Video Walls – Orange County, Calif. A/V Installer

PDC Video Walls is an Orange County, California-based company specializing in the design, fabrication, and installation of large-scale video walls and custom audio-visual (AV) systems. The company serves businesses, churches, restaurants, and other commercial clients.

Leg Up has been with PDC Video Walls since the beginning in December of 2016, when the name of the company was PDC AVL.

In the beginning, PDC AVL’s target was to install large-scale audio, video, and lighting systems, as the name suggests, mainly in houses of worship in the area. But had no marketing and no real online presence. They needed a Leg Up.

Aside from a new website and messaging focus as a starter, digital marketing was employed as a secondary and continually built their online presence through SEO and other services.

In 2024 PDC wanted to pivot to focusing on just large-scale video wall installation. The pivot is a major marketing initiative in messaging and online presence. Including all online messaging, website overhaul, SEO, digital advertising, social media messaging, logo revision, and the works.

RESULT

PDC Video Walls is still enjoying the effects of getting a Leg Up in all things website, SEO, digital marketing, social marketing, and other tools within the Leg Up toolkit, and is the go-to advisor for all things marketing.

Fiscally Fit – North Utah Financial Wellness

Fiscally Fit

Fiscally Fit is a Northern Utah financial wellness consultant that needed an improved website. The owner had retired from a local major university as a financial auditor and knew nothing necessarily about marketing.

So when she wanted to create her own business she was at a bit of a loss as to how to market it. She needed a leg up.

She had built the original site in GoDaddy’s website builder, which was supposed to be simple. Website content management systems like this restrict the capability of customization to a point. It is also sometimes convoluted to the layperson.

RESULT

Leg Up stepped in and, within about about a week, provided a MAJOR design and marketing message improvement. The client was absolutely elated with the end result of the design. As of late 2025, work on improving SEO, teaching the client about marketing her business, and expanding her reach in the Northern Utah area is ongoing.
