Future Ready Solutions is a company that designs, sources, and distributes connectivity and AV infrastructure products, with a particular emphasis on fiber optics, HDMI, networking, and related signal-distribution technologies.
They aim to serve systems integrators and installers in both residential and commercial markets by offering a curated set of high-performance brands and components. They operate as a hybrid supplier—part representative, part distributor—helping vendors with specialized sales and distribution strategies within the integration channel.
Around 2014, owner and founder of Future Ready Solutions needed to begin building a brand. Eric Bodley is a true visionary within the CEDIA channel with over 40 years of experience. Bodley held leadership roles in several notable companies, including Bodley & Associates, PPC, Perfect Path, and Belden. His extensive background spans retail, custom installation, industry consulting, manufacturing, and distribution. Bodley has been actively involved in industry associations, serving as the President of the CEDIA Board of Directors. He was named a CEDIA Fellow in 2009 and received the CEDIA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.
In addition to his role at Future Ready Solutions, Bodley serves on the Smart Home Division Board of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), where he contributes to shaping the future of smart home technologies.
At the start, Leg Up’s founder was associated with Marketing Matters, a premier PR/Marketing Firm based out of St. Petersburg, Fla., but continued doing work far after its formation. Work continued with Future Ready Solutions up until 2023, but still does periodic work with Leg Up to this day.
RESULT: Future Ready Solutions was provided with an extensive new website. Built in WordPress, a very popular content management system, the site offers multiple pages, with a focus on online shopping, as well as dealer/integrator sign-in for some information. The e-commerce side is extensive, offering tiered pricing, Over multiple years, the site grew in complexity (and functionality/UXP), becoming a major source of revenue for the company.
